Yup, that looks about right. Not many guys who played that game before the advent of helmets, face shields & mouth guards managed to retain their front teeth. I still remember the puck that took mine over 50 years ago!

Stan Mikita was our pony coach when I was a kid. He made us wear helmets. We felt like idiots. No one else in the league had to wear them.

Nice smile Tom.:) I am afraid I am not to far behind you.:) But it was a blast playing it. But things are starting to come back and haunt me too. My right hand got broken so many times it has been getting stiff and I am loosing my strength in it, and I can't close it all the way. And so many more acks and pains. What fun it is. But it lets you know you are still alive!!! :)

I have broken more hands with my face than I can remember. I have artificial knees, arthritis, and a bad brain. Talk about aches and pains.

That must have hurt. In the 4h grade (about 1948) I was pitcher in a class baseball team. The ball hit me in the head, but not the teeth, so at least no serious harm. But I still remember being knocked flat. 'Never did like sports.

I was 13 at the original indecent. I was flat on my belly when I saw the puck coming... Real fast! It was the beginning of the 3rd period. It hurt like hell but I kept trying to play. They made my mom take me to the emergency room. It also laid my 4 bottom teeth back also. I still has those.
