CS6 or Lightroom and CHDK

I was reading another thread about the D800 and compatibility with CS6 ACR and had a spin-off question. I have a Canon SX130IS that I am considering installing CHDK software on it primarily to be able to capture RAW images. I mostly use Photoshop CS6 for post processing, occasionally Lightroom 4 also. Does anyone know for sure or through experience if the RAW images captured using CHDK software can be read by Adobe's ACR in CS6 or in Lightroom 4?

I have never used CHDK as I am a Nikon user, but if the resulting CR2 file is within specifications, PS nor LR should have any problems with it. If the resulting file is NOT to specification, shame on them!! :-)

It is a completely compatible CR2 file. Of course you can also set your camera to write DNG files, again completely compatible.

When using CHDK you have the option to save the RAW files in the DNG format. This would be the most universal format to use. I never could get the CR2 generated RAW files to open up in PhotoShop CS6.

I have always used DPP or Zoombrowser to open CR2 files so I am not sure of compatibility with Light Room or Photo Shop. But, as you are using an Adobe product why not save in DNG?
