Is there any interchangeability between Nikon and Canon flashes being used on each others cameras - Nikon on a Canon and vice versa?
Not only do they not interchange, but the pocket wizards don't either :!:

Interesting. Someone asked me about that, and I had no idea. Thanks.
This explains why our bags become so filled with extraneous crap we never use and forget why we carry

JR, will they still shoot in TTL, or just manual.
I'm pretty sure I remember reading that the new Yongnuo 568 will work fully ETTL on either camera with the same flash, but have not used one. Thanks

I have to say that I have always used them on auto with the camera and they have been fine, though I use mainly manual and a meter
Not my experience. But who knows. :!:

Actually I believe the pocket wizards can fire either as long as you are not trying to carry TTL. I'm pretty sure the Plus III's can, not sure about the Flex's.
SharpShooter, yes, the Yongnuo does work on camera with a Nikon. I use a 7D and lent this flash to my son who has a D90...however, the Nissin D866 Pro does not work with the NIkon, it has to be bought camera specific, disappointingly :O) Also, the Yongnuo 622 triggers work on both camera makes ..
And they are built well and solid and they work flawlessly and they work up to 100 meters in bright sunlight. And they now have fully dedicated models and they are super affordable. Yonguo Rocks!

I have one of those. Works great and I don't have to be standing in front of the camera like some require.
