Yes at the apex of the jetty and the beach is a good entry point. Locals say that if someone has to explain how to body surf the Wedge, you shouldnt be there. Thus, there are no lessons available, and newcomers must bring fins and demonstrate their skills for the beachs gantlet of lifeguards. Practice on nearby beaches and low-surf days. Two swells on is generated from the push off the jetty.

We were supposed to get high waves down here in San Diego but I didn't find anything spectacular Friday or Saturday when I went out. Maybe you were selfish and kept them all for yourself?..........lol
