The sepia color on these are just perfect
Your pictures are wonderful. Would you share with us how the sepia tone was obtained? I've attempted this with Photoshop Elements and can't seem to get the excellent tone you got.
Excellent job. The sepia gives these shots a true feel of the old city.
Great street shots and sepia gives it an edge...
Thanks for the comments.
These are negative scans. They were shot with a 1957 Rolleicord Va
The images came from the scanner in greyscal so the first step was to change the color space to rgb thus allowing to access the black and white conversion tools in Photoshop. At the bottom of the black and white panel is a section called tint. I moved the slider to the appropriate tint color and then adjusted the saturation to my liking. I then lightened the images further and reduced the contrast. The results are meant to mimic the albumen printing process that was used with wet plate and dry plate. I hope that when I go to the darkroom to print these I can find the appropriate toner for this result.
You are very talented.
Can't wait to see what develops in the darkroom!
Ho Ho - about as old of a joke as I am.
