I have just joined. Used to do a lot of photography but have gotten away from it for various reasons. Lost my photoshop 7 when my computer died and it turned out not to be compatible with my Windows 7. I used to have hours and hours and hours of fun with my photoshop. I just bought pse9 and am looking forward to getting going again with my camera and PS. I am enjoying seeing what others are shooting and reading/giving helpful suggestions. I'll be getting some photos on here eventually :-)
Welcome - I too use PS9 or should say try to. I have been somwhat surprised though at how I am picking up a few things. Looking forward to see some of your pics. I have added a few that I'll bet some are tired of looking at. Once more all or none are free to comment or not as they wish.
Nicely done Notnobuddha. What is the middle photo of?

Thank you. Yes I should either not use that picture or explain at the time that it a sculpture made from pipes and cables that stand maybe thrity 30 feet tall. It is located in a artsy / nature park in the Netheralnds - I cannot reall the name but it was made by an artist from the state Oregon. I shot the picture sitting, center on the ground looking straight up into a very nice blue sky. The colors and effect were done mostly with Elements 9 filters. It seems to play to mixed reviews, which is fine.

I like that center photo and am impressed with the creativity to take it from such an angle.
