I came across this old truck yesterday, whilst out in the country. I'm a bit disappointed in #3..I couldn't get enough light on the house verandah, without washing out the truck.
It was late afternoon (winter down here) & somewhat shady.

Wish our winters looked like that. Great set

Would have been nice if you had taken another shot "zoomed out " more .....to show the old truck (lorry lol) as the sculpture piece it is meant to be.
Just a though. :)
If it wasn't so green, it could've been in Lightning Ridge where old trucks go to die.
I like #1. The background elements in the others kind of take away from the uniqueness of the truck.

I agree. #3 was intended to be more of a 'rural scene', rather than a feature of the truck. I intend taking more pics of the truck with a bigger lens (maybe the SX50 ?) & some fill in flash.
Nice pictures,
A very creative garden. I love old cars and trucks. As you were disappointed with #3, I took the liberty of lightening up the veranda for you. I hope you don't mind.

Thanks Habjab. That really nailed it. I only use PhotoScape & Picasa 3 & I don't think I can do that with them.
All pictures are over saturated - unreal- stick with natural!
Number one is definetly the money shot. Call me crazy but I like number three with the deck in some shadow.

Garden Art. It looks like it was planted and grew up out of that soil. Nice series.

Sorry, George, saturation was not touched. I do very little PP. In this case, the only PP was a very small contrast tweak. We have a lot of coastal rain & it is always lush & green here.
