When we lived down South (Georgetown), I had dozens in the tree waiting for me to get home. They greeted me with a cacophony of screeches while the peanuts were being tossed. Now I've only seen one last week and he hasn't been back yet.
This is my favorite Blue Jay of all. I've named him Jack. He's the one who eats from hand and follows me around the marsh. I thought I'd share a few images of him, with you.
What a nice series Joe! There are two major parts to this topic: First -- your images of Jack Second -- getting him to eat out of your hand.
I always look forward to your posts. The photos of Jack are wonderful, and it's so nice that you've developed a special bond with him. Thanks so much for sharing these.
I'm so glad Vicki. Jack has become so familiar that other people are now waiting for him to show when I'm on the path. This is what they look for. :D :D
