Cloudy days can sometimes trick auto white balance, but they do make for nice even lighting. See what the auto tone and/or auto color does to one of them and maybe add a little contrast, see if you like it any better. Keep shooting and have fun with both the taking and the "photoshoping". You can always undo if you don't like what you get. :)
just re uploaded the photos.. looks more natural lighting now.
took your advise

Would you be willing to post an unedited version of the fountain with the building in the background and check the store original box? I am curious about something on that one. And with your permission I can do an edit... What do you think?
Kind of lost track of everything I did... Does this look a little more true to life in the colors?
I noticed the white balance on you camera was set to manual. What did you white balance on? Or was it a preset white balance?
Also the iso was 3200, did you set it that high, or was it the camera? Whenever you can a lower iso will look better.
Sometimes the auto exposure modes can be tricked on cloudy days and this shot looks a little overexposed to me. Any one else want to comment?
I like this one though, it looks like a very pretty place. Keep shooting I'd like to see more.
Hope I'm not overwhelming. ;)
Hey there,
Yes it looks much better, yes I thought a high ISO would take the graininess out but I was wrong I have since been using 400 - 500 ISO...
I appreciate the comments.

Hi Lauren,
Thanks, glad you like it.
Yes, high ISO = more graininess. Was the same with film. :)
Have you tried the auto white balance?
Nice thing about digital; you can go out and experiment, see the results right away and it costs (almost) nothing! :)
Have a good day Lauren!

Welcome, when overcast, try setting your WB in camera to Cloudy,

I just ran a white balance script I wrote on this one. It was a tad on the blue side.
