Osprey defending territory.

Another male osprey threatening another male for his mate. This was quite a scene to watch, and hear, they were making quite a racket. Hard to photograph, everyone was moving terribly fast. I had to do quite a bit more PP than I normally do (or like to do). Good thing they were shot in RAW, otherwise may not have been salvagable. Oh, these were taken in early April in Nags Head.

They really do look much better if you download them.

Unbelievable shots! Dang, Pigpen, the birds in my back yard don't even ruffle each others' feathers much less have a knock-down, drag-out.

Thanks all. I had fun shooting them. Right before I left for the trip, I got a Canon 7d to go with the T2i. The 7D can do up to 8 fps. This has definately helped increase my keeper rate.
