An interview with legion3

1) How long have you been into photography and what got you started?
I have always been interested in photography but in the last five years I have gotten more involved

2) Have you had any formal training and what kind of photography do you do most?
I have taken many classes and have joined different groups that share knowledge

3) What inspired you to take your winning shot?
The shot was taken Memorial Day morning at about 7 AM at PINELAWN NATIONAL CEMETERY on Long Island. I have thought about the shot for many years

4) What equipment did you use and was there any special setup?
Shot was taken with a Canon 5 d mark III and a 28 -300 mm lens

5) Would you change anything if you could do it again?

6) If you couldn't do photography what else would you do?

7) Is there somewhere we can see more of your work?

An interview with Isshe

1) How long have you been into photography and what got you started?
I started getting serious about photography around 7 years ago.

2) Have you had any formal training and what kind of photography do you do most?
I have taken some photography classes...I like shooting landscape photos over all.

3) What inspired you to take your winning shot?
What inspired me to take my winning picture. The age of the soldier was touching to me. Also...the military training from years gone by was still alive in him.

4) What equipment did you use and was there any special setup?
I used a Canon EOS 7D with a Tamron 18-270 lens.

5) Would you change anything if you could do it again?
If I could change anything in the photo...I'd would try and get a little more of his lower body in the photo.

6) If you couldn't do photography what else would you do?
If I could no longer do photography...I would try and pass on what knowledge I have about photography to anyone that would ask.

7) Is there somewhere we can see more of your work?
