I won't add anything more, but a few of us regulars and new ones also know who I am talking about. Thanks for your standing up to people who have no business being on here.

Thanks everyone. The silent treatment. Maybe if we don't feed "IT", "IT" will go away.

the nerve of him thinking he is God's gift to photography, when everyone knows its me. :!:   :D 8-) I can picture him now, all dressed in black smoking clove cigarettes, wearing a west german army jacket all covered with buttons of pithy sayings. He has probably gone to put down on paper more teenage angst bad death poetry!!!

Hey I use to smoke clove cigarettes and wear army pants.
Usually I'm dressed in black, (It's very slimming). I also write poetry.

Okay, I know, I just not the same, some how my hair won't stay straight up on my head. Ruins the whole look. Not to mention I quite smoking 15 years ago, but I still wear black! and no one gets kill or dies in my poetry(except for my ex husband).

But, then again, the culprit is usually the last to know...

I have the feeling that you speak of me. If this is right, and i have nothing to offer this group, i will most certainly not spend time in here. So lets make this thread a rhino stay or go thread.

Ok....(this is for others on the forum) After looking at a lot of prior posts and reading this man's bio, I will vote "stay". He is obviously very tech-savvy and able to recognize from a distance what may be wrong with an image, and has a good grasp of what could make it better. That's what we're all here for. A bit rough around the edges at times, but his expertise and knowledge of the technical aspects of composition, PP, etc. far outweigh any bruised sensibilities, in my opinion. We're here to learn, not to be coddled.

My humble advice to Rhino would be, don't critique the photographer, just the photograph.

And PLEASE don't let me be the can opener for a huge can of worms!

WOW - while I might not agree with some of Rhino's delivery methods or his arrogant attitude at times, most of his C&C is pretty spot on.

Sometimes people have to work on their delivery, other times they think too highly of themselves and as in the case here with Rhino, it seems like we have a little of both going on. I personally would like to see him stay.

Personality clashes are going to happen (I can attest to this, personally), if you don't like Rhino then simply place him on your ignore list (the forum doesn't have one, just use a mental one, I have a few posters on mine).

Without a designated C&C section, I try to avoid true critique, because that is NOT what most photographers, especially Noobs, want to read. I am not known for soft-pedaling on one hand, nor for un-warranted criticism such as "what were you thinking?" or "why did you take this photo?" on the other.

Without a designated C&C section, I think all comments should be written as if your boss is going to read them. Both relay the same information, but Whistle-blowers get fired, whereas Diplomats get promoted.

Within a desgnated C&C section, critique restrictions are few. As we say in NASCAR,"Getlemen, Have at it!" And no crying allowed.

Whoops! I thought they were talking about someone else. I've got no beef with you Rhino. Stay and comment all you want on my threads.
