Beston manual zoom macros 80-205 1:4:5 lens

Bought this Beston lens yesterday at a local pawn shop for $5.00. Can anyone tell whether this is an FD or FL lens? How do I tell which it is? Thank you.

You could get a cheap adapter, if it fits....ok, if it does not....you still know.

Thank you guess that's what I will do. Doesn't have an marks of useage on it at all, glass is clean no mold or dust to be found.

Got to admit, that's one lens brand I have never seen before. Looks exactly like a Quantaray though.

Looks like a really REALLY old Canon 'breech lock' mount. Good luck getting it to mount on a modern camera.

Learned today that it will fit a Canon AE 1 film camera.

Thought so. It's an FD lens and there are adapters to use it on EF/EF-S bodies. Fully manual unless you buy one with the chip in it that tells the camera there is a lens attached - if so the AutoFocus confirmation light will then work.

This one is a fully maual operation, but worth buying an adapter from B&H.
