I recently saw a special on Nova where they showed natives digging holes during the dry season. They eventually get to the water table and the hole fills up. They water their cattle and then when they leave other wild animals like elephants and lions use the wells.

Nope. I will not use a photo without crediting photographer. Even in "public domain" a photographer's name should be available.
