Blue Tongue Lizard, very timid and harmless;

I disturbed these Roos while up in the bush.

this Koala makes a run for it, to get away from us,
oh out of interest, Koala is a indigenous name meaning of course Bear,so if you call them a Koala Bear, what you are actually calling them, is, a, BEAR BEAR, it has taken me years to try and get out of calling them Koala Bears, and i still do at times,

Nice captures. It's funny to see the Roos in a wooded area like that. I always see them (on TV) in open areas, I would think that it would be difficult to hop with all the trees and branches on the ground. Thanks for the information on the Bear Bear, never knew that. :D

thanks Joeb re the roos, about 2k from home we have dense bush, and the roos and wallabies, can go through it so fast its hard to believe, if i wanted to keep up with them i would need a tank, a 4x4 would not be any good, they also can climb very steep hills so easy ,its unbelievable,

Good shots, even got motion blur on koala which I thought would be impossible as when I was in OZ the ones I saw didn't move quick enough :thumbup: :thumbup:
