Hi all UHH folks
I have been working more with my strobes and would like to get your input on my lighting.
I understand the pose is not that great and he is pushing up his glasses with his hand and squishing his face all up. This is my son and he gets a little lazy when I want to play with my strobes.
I would like this to be just about the lighting please.
Uploaded the wrong one look at the bottom one the top one is where I was changing the background Sorry
lighting test=bored son
This is the one Sorry
Well to be honest, I prefer the first photograph.

I'll have to agree; #1 is better ! The lighting in both is very even, almost too even - there's not much drama - what are you trying to accentuate? The eyes are the usual focus of a portrait, but it's tough with glasses. In both, I notice the bridge of his nose first, because that's where the shadow (Contrast) is. Keep moving them around and watch how the shadows change.
