I don't think the robin was too thrilled with the snow we were getting. His chest was so puffed out he looked like a Cornish Game Hen. The kids had to get my dog involved with the Easter decorating...and the one of them just having fun together was a picture I coudn't pass up.
First picture --- Now is that what you call a double breasted robin???
No...it's a Dolly Pardon Robin! :)
I like Dolly Partin more'n I do that danged ol' Robin. Nice shot! I know what it feels to get all puffed up like that in the snow. That Robin wasn't enjoying life. Can't even ski. The kids are cute. Nice images, all.

I was thinking the same thing! The kids are beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
When I was a kid growing up in Arkansas I felt so sorry for all you folks that lived way up there with all that snow, freezing your ___es off and then some of you'd come south and I'd see your cars and they'd be all raggedy from rust and I thought when I grow up, I'm gonna see if I can raise money for ya so you can all get outta there. I'd have images in my mind of the poor lil' ol' Robins trying to get around in all that snow and I just felt like there's just no end to it. As I got a little older I began to wonder why you were even there in the first place and then a few more questions began to come to me and then one day I moved to Colorado and began to wallow around in the snow, skiing, sledding, frolicking about with our three boys and just about forgot all about you and your lil' ol' Robins. Now, here I am, an old man with clogged arteries having a hard time holding my emotions back and you're bringing me to tears with your poor lil' ol' Robin pictures that look so real - damn you! I hope someday your shutter freezes.
 Gessman..you make me laugh...
Is that a bad thing? I think I just may have too much time on my hands. Retirement may not be for everyone.
Not a bad thing at all...you know what they say..Laughter is the best medicine. And I'm not even sick...well..guess some people wouldn't agree with that statement! :)
Well then, that settles it, I reckon.
I LOVE retirement.....
I get up every day with lots of things to do....
Then I go to bed only having done half of them!!!
Actually my wife retired yesterday......lots of RV'ing in our future! And lots of different photo Ops.
