Haven't used my macro lenses in a while so I stuck a twig in a jar of sand and water and transplanted an ant to it(the ant won't cross the water) pre-focused on a spot and waited for him to walk into it.
Excellent macro photographs and an ingenious photographic set.

Excellent idea and nice capture! Thanks for sharing :thumbup: As an afterthought maybe some sugar water would keep the ant still rather than waiting on a pre-focused position.

This is exactly what gave me the idea of holding an ants attention. Another member had posted this link on here a while ago. Cheers :thumbup:
