Absolutely disgusting that all successive governments since 1945 have failed to recognise the bravery of these men. Shame that there are only 200 left to receive the medal. Amazing that in this country you can be knighted for riding a bike, be made a Lord for organising a sporting event or ploughing money into a political party within months, but you have to hang on for nearly 70 years to get a medal for risking your life day after day for months/years on end. Is there no one in charge that has heard of the word 'PRIORITIES'?
