Sarge 69 Col. Jack Jacobs said it best this morning on MSNBC Memorial Day is the day we remember all service members fallen and serving because of the disconnect of our volunteer service to our country. They are protecting the 320 million in this country for our freedom therefore all need to be thought of and thanked. I am a veteran of Vietnam and appreciate the thank you when it is given.
Amen molsonice. Hello in Grand Blanc; my sister lives there and I got married there years ago, living in Farwell now. I served for 24 years myself and had a ship blown up from under me so know what it's like and returning with ptsd. I remember all and thank all who served each day, and even on Memorial Day. This gentleman just touched my heart and I wanted others to see him as well. Thanks for your kind words, it's not political correctness to want to thank someone who served.
