Are you referring to "shutter click"? Your DSLR has a real. moving shutter and will create shutter noise. Many point and shoots and phones have electronic shutters and add the sound to make the shot seem "real"). Often those cameras allow you to eliminate the sound.

That's often a problem with any SLR camera. The newest ones have various types of "silent" or "quiet" settings. For years, I used my D90 to take still pictures for a local playhouse. During the last performance I shot, one member of the audience complained about the camera noise, so I never went back. I guess the ventilation, coughing, talking, and cars driving by escaped his notice.

Why didn't you turn off the beeping sound?
Just asking.

People who do theatre photography often wrap their camera in a quilt or other sound absorbing media to muffle its noise when shooting a live performance, OR only shoot during dress rehearsals.

A tip for next time: when asking for help, put something about the specific problem in the topic title. This forum is loaded with "Please Help" topics, and that title gives readers very little to go on. http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/search.jsp?q=Please+help&u=&s=0
Cheers!
