Is anyone else having problems with Flickr's excess security. I have been trying for two weeks to upload to my site. They are quick to respond but don't offer any real solution. It asks me to use a secondary e-mail site I don't have. It rejects my password. It asks for an ID code and then provides no place to enter it. It rejects the answer to the personal security question. And we go round and round and round!!! I mean this is a site for amateur photographers to post their photographs, not the Pentagon! I'm inclined to dump the whole thing but I have a lot of pictures posted and putting them on a different service would be a huge job.
I've had no problems at all...Are you sure your account hasn't been hacked?

I've not been having any issues with them - just getting used to their new interface and learning my way around again but uploaded 8-10 photos last evening without issue.
Have problems uploading photos, take hrs to upload a few
I just had some minor problems the day they made the switch to the new format, but it has been working fine for me daily now.

I use my Yahoo log on information like I use for Yahoo Groups, I think it might have changed since I first signed up.
I don't use that site because in the fine print they claim use of all photos posted on their site.

I finally got things resolved. But I had to jump through hoops to do it.

It SEEMS as if you are trying to start a flickr account without a Yahoo email address..and hence the extra security.
Is that the case?
For my own experience...I've not had any problems nor has my ditzy sister in law (blond in training) had those kind of problems when she signed up.
