The hidden garden of Mission San Luis Rey. . .
A peaceful place of beauty, great for two-way listening.

Another really special creation.
This reminds me of a book I read years ago. I believe the title was "The Listener" by Taylor Caldwell who based a number of books on religious themes.
Yes, Taylor Caldwell wrote a number of books having a religious theme. I first read some of her works as a child in the 50's, as my mother had a number of her books.
And yes, Taylor Caldwell was a female. An interesting lady as I recall. It has been years since I read any of her works.
And thank you for your kind comment on my image.
Yes,gardens are a very good place for us to open our hearts to God, He does listen and care for us.
Boy, did I miss the boat when I lived in California!
If I ever get back there...I know where to tote the camera..nice shot as always.

Yes, one can spend a lifetime photographing the 21 old California missions. . .I know because I have. My family settled in California before Statehood, and the mission at San Juan Bautista was my family's parish church. My great grandmother was born at the San Miguel Mission.
Thank you for looking and for your kind comments. Maybe it is time to visit all of the missions one more time. I think I will try to find someone who wants to come along?
