Rainy day and birds.
what do you do on a rainy day... Take more pictures of birds. We counted 15 male Indigo buntings here today. But the Scarlet Tanager just grabs my attention every time. And I also had 2 Red headed Woodpeckers today at the same time. I was hoping to get the Tanager and a Cardinal together. Some day!
Red Headed Woodpecker
Scarlet Tanager
Oriole
Think this is the Male, not sure.
Young Male Red Wing Black bird
Male Goldfinch
Male Grosbeak

One of my favorites, the Scarlet Tanager. Just can't get enough of him.

Thanks canonjohn922,
I would never get any work done if I tried to photography everyone in one day.
I have 2 koi ponds and we feed birds all year round. My husband thinks the ponds bring in a lot of them.

Unbelievably beautiful ... birds and photos. You do justice to their elaborate markings.

thehing,
Thank you so very much, I know I am lucky to have all these birds. And I thank the Lord every time I get a new bird in my yard.

Thank you LPigott glad you like them.
Really good set Krus, my preference is the Female Indigo Bunting, purely because the signature is less obtrusive, Hope I've not offended you.

Absolutely beautiful. All of your photos were so sharp, and the variety. Very nice.

Very nice Sherry. What gear??
These are great captures. Will you share your settings and equipment? I also posted some images earlier of birds in my yard. We discussed the lack of tack sharpness. I see it and feel it is camera wiggle. But lighting is also in question now.
