Did you accidentally send one to spam maybe? Admin says if that happens it puts an automatic stop to emails. You might try going to your profile page and resetting your email address and saving it and see what happens. Also maybe a PM to Admin to see if they can tell you if you ended up on the spam list or something.

Check your settings under "My Profile." Sometimes the notification gets turned off. Check your email junk folder; they may be going there. Otherwise, send a PM to admin. Several others have mentioned.
Which topic do you think was deleted?
Did you know that the daily digest link in that email only shows 1/10 of actual numbers posted, at least to photo gallery, in any given 24 hours?! I use "Newest Topics" + buddy list to make I don't miss any!

This happen to me this year I some how sent it to spam and I didn't get any more e-mails you will have to waite till the end of the month to get renewed so let the Administrator know good luck.

I got a message from admin that my last post " looking through some oldies had been deleted". They said it was duplicated. It wasn't.

I think there might have been two posts of that, yes. Not your doing, just a glitch in upload or something.
They were just telling you they deleted the duplicate (and if any UHHers commented on the one they deleted, admin would move those to your other).

My messages are coming to my in box now, so the problem seams to have been fixed. I wasn't worried about the deletion so much as the messages stopped at the same time.
