I need a new printer-- my Epson C88+ died after 7 years :( , and I thought it would be nice to have one that could print wide format if it didn't cost a small fortune. This seems to fit the bill.

Has anyone her had any experience, good or bad, with this printer? :

I wouldn't call that printer a "Photo Printer".
For a review see:

An excerpt:
For photos, Epson recommended using a matte presentation paper, which it lists on its Web site as a photo paper, and which Epson says is typical of the kind of paper most businesses use for printing photos on the WF-7010. Almost all of the photos qualified as true photo quality, and all were suitable for printing photos as part of a business presentation or the like.

I just got the Epson Artisan 1430 as an addition to my Artisan 800, the quality of the prints is excellent and it will print up to 13" x 19". Paid $300 at Staple's.

I just bought the Cannon Pixma 9000 Mark II. It prints up to 13x19. the prints are true to color and sharp. And the price will not break the bank. Check on Amazon.
