I kinda like fog shots. I have some more that are perspective and fog in NYC and another of a trestle disappearing in fog in Alaska that I may post. Are these wall worthy?

Thank you! I did not want to post them in the alternates, however, I think I like the first better in B&W as you suggest. The trestle was taking from a moving train on the way to White Path, Canada.

I like the bit of warmth provided by the color in #1. They're both beautiful shots.

Thank you, Jeanne. I really loved the moment when I had the chance to shoot it. Very early, sun just coming up in the right spot. See what you think of these.

Everything is wall worthy it's your wall go nuts. I like the top shot and the bottom shot. If you find yourself in a similar situation again try a smaller F stop. From the look of the shots I would say you were at f 5.6 or wider try F11 or F16 you will get more dramatic light rays. You will have to bust out the tripod but that what the thing is for.

I love fog, too. I hope it's ok if I post one of my favorite fog pictures. I would love to see a whole thread of them. If you prefer, I'll move to another entry.

Next time I read a post from you I will make sure I don't have coffee in my mouth! I can always clean my monitor, I guess. That's excellent information. Next time I will bracket some shots to see the effect. Thanks for your comment.

I LOVE the trestle picture...it's hard not to wonder whats beyond. I love images like that. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work.
What part of VA are you? My son lives in Marshall and works in DC.

Glad you like it. We are in the mountains of Virginia and we love to travel, so I have quite a few pictures on file. I pretty much always have my camera with me, just in case.

I think they're gorgeous! Well worth hanging! (In my humble opinion.)

I love that part of the country. I lived in West VA for a few years. One of my favorite things to do in VA (besides visiting DC) is going on the Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah Valley. I recommend that to any scenery photographer.
