hey all here's a few pics of my hike up to high shoals waterfall . let me know what you think and which ones your Favorite
These are all very nice. I had to go back and look a couple of times to see what one was my favorite. Number 1 is my choice. Great job!!!
# 1 for me.

I'm a people person, number 4
I too cast my vote for number four; but, not because of the people, it is because that number four is the only one where the water looks more like water instead of slippery soy milk.
I understand that this is a personal thing, and with me I like water to look like water.
Number one for me also. Would you mind telling us where these were taken? Thanks.

Always better with a beautiful bride of course. Great job and the child adds class.
Very nice! A matter of preference, but I think a little less contrast (you can do it in post, of course) would help, and it might help bring out detail the darkened areas. Where did you take these fine shots?
I'm with Mooseeyes, I like the "natural" look of the water in N0.4. The pose of the people also adds to the shot.

Nice area to shoot. I would suggest using a tripod because the shots aren't very sharp. Long exposures need to be held very still.
thanks everybody!!! the pics were taken at high shoals falls
in south mountain state park N.C its about a 2 mile hike up I think only the last 1/2 mile is steep but well worth it !!!
it was kind of a "spur of the moment" trip. that's why I only had my camera and my one lens and no tripod. had my mono-pod and that's all , but I still think the shot turned out great for only my kit lens. Next time I will bring my Nikon 50mm 1.4 I think that will be a better lens 4 those type's of shot's. Thanks again Dennis....
