Groundhogs are plentyfull in Roane County,Tennessee (Harriman Area) and no they won't come to you if you call the Philly Boy or Phil. That stuff is for tv and not real life.
Never try to pickup a baby groundhog if you come across one. Why you ask, if you value your fingers and hands just don't. They have lots of teeth and know how to use them!
