Out between the rain drops today. Have wondered what was chewing up my Dahlias,well I found out today...Found this one on the plant. Not a very good shot of it. It's a fairly new pest around these parts & I can honestly say I don't like it....Oh, yeah, it's got a water drop on top of it. It kept turning around, didn't want it's picture taken I guess...

That's good picture of one. I looked around a little for some information on it. I've never heard of this one. It has one good thing going for it, it eats kudzo. Well two good things, it doesn't sting or bite and that's about it. To kill it you have to spray it with any insecticide. But don't swat it because it has a very bad oder They like to swarm on the sides of houses but they don't do any damage to it. Sounds like a bad bug to me. Bu you got a great picture.

Dont squash or touch this bug. It leash a caustic orange stain on the skin that smells, itches and some people get blisters. It can destroy a crop of soy beans. Comes from China and India. Probably got here in a plant of wysteria
