Yeah, maybe that's it... the background color(s) almost match identically to the colors of the bird.

I would suggest that if you still can't bring yourself to trash it... then DON'T!
YOU like it and that's all that matters... it speaks to you for a reason and if you can't articulate what that reason is now, no worries! It will make itself known in due time...

Still have lots of photos stored that I haven't looked at in years, but if I pulled them out I would have this same problem. There's just some ya can't get rid of & that's OK. I see why you can't. Its a great shot that just came up soft. Still to good to discard. Kudos to Ya.

You "nailed" my perplexity English Wolf. Normally I'm "ruthless" when deciding "trashworthy" images. And bad focus has never gotten a pass. At least till now. Thanks for your reply.

Thanks Pentax. I've only had my Canon for a year come Christmas, but "truth be known", I could probably put all of the "good" shots from my first 15 DVD's on one CD. LOL

i think it is a good shot too and should be kept. it has a certain something that is hard to describe, i don't know if its the angle, the way the colors complement each other, or the fact the birdie is cute, but i like it.

Well truth be know, you & I aren't the only ones that shoot a lot of photos & keep a few. It's just the way it is on the beginning unless your just truly gifted as a photographer. Iv shot for thirty years & I'm still learning. Shooting photos has never been easy for me. It's just doesn't come natural & I'm color Blind. So hang in there & shoot every chance you get. It will come to you over time.

Iv shot for thirty years & I'm still learning. Shooting photos has never been easy for me. It's just doesn't come natural & I'm color Blind. So hang in there & shoot every chance you get.
