Good Morning, Judy! The barn challenge is going to be fun; thank you for hosting. I always love your barn photos! I have 3 submissions taken within the last few weeks, but from afar off. I hope to find an opportunity to 'study' an old barn up close before this challenge is over!
Old barn about ready to fall down across the state road from the house my brother just bought. The accompanying old house is already down.

Interesting shots, I must say, and from an aspect not related to photography also.
You see, in colder climates you will never see the barn that far from the house. Up here they are right near, a two minute walk from the house. (Will find a pic). Also in Germany and Holland I have seen barns and houses which share a common wall, and one of the reasons is for heating the house
