Just upgraded to 5D Mk III, soooooo also had to upgrade to Lightroom 4, then Canon just released an upgrade on the 5D so did that too, don't get me wrong I'm grateful to be able to do it but dang, I forget about the peripheries when doing this stuff. Shot handheld with Canon 100mm 2.8 IS, Canon MT24 twin flash with DIY diffusers, usual settings are 100 ISO, 1/200-sec at f/13.
The transfer of these pics was a little disappointing, lost a lot of color vibrancy.
Colors above look muted. Are you processing raw or JPGs?
Slightly tweaked exposure, contrast, color tempertue, color saturation, & sharpness.

I'll say, always shoot raw, process in LR, send from iPhoto, looks good on Facebook and emails, so seems between iPhoto and the hog

DOF is incredible.
thanks, I'm giving the credit to canon upgrade and the new focus points, lot of wow's going on here as I run it through its paces, been to busy to take it out in the field yet
Nice job napabob. I have the same camera and have not done the upgrade in firmware yet. Do you recommend it and how did you find it?

thanks and I would as it helps the focus speed and accuracy, the other part of it is for recording video via HDMI cable directly to computer which I probably won't use, Canons website has the firmware downloads, it was pretty painless via CF card, I'm apple all the way
nice going Bob..Well done.
These are terrific! So how are you liking the Mark III - worth the investment?
