Anyone get this issues too?

I have subscribed threads, and in the User Control Panel I have checked the boxes for Notification Information , and for a day or two it works and I get e-mail notification of thread replies.

Then the e-mails stop

If I go and check the subscribed threads, I have had replies, but no e-mail.

Go to the control panel, and the Notification Info boxes have become un checked.

This has happened multiple times now, so I now know it is not me. I gave gone to the control panel multiple times now and re checked the bloody boxes, but give it a few days and they un check themselves.

Any other settings I have missed?

I got instant notification to your reply.

Wonder if there is a timer limit on how long it stays checked for?

I don't know if this is contributing to your problems, Neil, but some folks here have had their e-mails go to their spam folders. When Ugly Hedgehog detects that it terminates the e-mails to that address.
Just an idea. You might check your spam, it may give a clue.

Just a thought, could it be that you have your computer set to clear all history and such every couple of days and that is affecting what you talk about? ....The Spam box happening is a definite maybe !

Umm

But strange how they get through for a while, then stop.

But you could be correct.

I had an issueclike that a few weeks back. It was not a user setting on the mail client sending mails to junk or spam but it was a setting that I had to get the e-mail hosting service to fix.
They had a white/grey/black list system of spam filtering in place that the user could not change, or was even aware of when checking the ' WebmailCentral' control panel part of the web interface. I had to phone them and tell them the issue.
My girlfriend regularly send electronic greeting cards from online service, and none of them ever get through on that one particular e-mail account, but if she sent to gmail acc they arrived instantly.

They changed that filtering system for me last week.

I'll see now if I get my Notification Info settings reset this time.

Thanks

Thanks for reply Coyote, looks like we cross posted.

Definetly think it was the mail system from that particular e-mail account. I'll check and see if that is the ssme account I have registered on the forum

It Has Done That To Many On Here. The Administrater Will Probly Say It Shows You Checked It AsSpaM. But I Didn't Either.Just Put Page On Warched Topics An Put It In Your Fav. Bar. An You Won't Have to Delete Them Out Of Emails. It Did Me A Favor.

I tend to have all my (hopefully) regular e-mails auto sorted by sender into individual into folders, so deleting e-mails is never an issue.

As I said earlier, I had marked nothing as SPAM, that happened at the hosting mail server before I had a chance to mark manually. It was out of my control. It was actually a mail content comparision filter that the hosting software filter system used that must have been bouncing them.

Only time will tell if this was the issue.

Oh, i am sure we could add a tank or two for extra range..ferry tanks. I believe there are regs to cover ferry flights.
Would need fuel for at least a 1200nm range ;)
