Hey Jeff great work as always... I've been keeping up with your post and love the way you see your photos..I have been studying your visual concepts of portrait photography and will apply this to my portraits..I have not tried the portrait side of my photography yet but I'm beginning to visually see the outcome, in my head, of the shots I want..thanks to you and your comments on other posts..I'm not saying I'm going to copy you I just have a clearer understanding of what to look for and how to apply it..I have a long way to go but thanks for the help...

Thank u for your kind compliment Silvertone. I'm flattered that you've followed my critiques on other posts. I do my best to offer guidance that peeps can understand and realistically integrate into their growth as photogs if they desire it. I try to post up my work here also so that when I give advice the person knows that I'm coming at them with experience instead of just an observers point of view. Just as a new parent shouldn't take parenting advice from someone without kids, a new photog shouldn't take photography advice from someone unless they've seen and respect their work.

I, too, follow your work/suggestions/comments/critiques of other PORTRAIT photographs especially. There is a select few in here who are truly adept at portraits, whom I follow to garner insight into what works and what doesn't.... more importantly WHY or WHY NOT.

But you knew that already :)

Fantastic work and beyond critique (even if I were qualified to try to! lol)

Very good work of a difficult shoot. Family shots can be tricky!
Well done

LOVE these family photos. The composition of the 1st two is so clever.
