Possibly a gravid female. She may lay eggs within a few days.

In your yard the whole time... Congrats, hope you find more. Looks like you'll have babies soon. Just so you know some of my best finds have been on others homes. They love Wood and Vinyl. Anything man made.

I'll watch for the babies. Do you have any nest photos?

The females built a cocoon shaped web/home in corners or angles of buildings, branches, ect. I have never looked for babies, not sure if just a home for the female, or if she lays her eggs in the make shift house. I do know they lay eggs elsewhere.

They are amazing. I've always admired the photos taken by f/stop 22 and tinusbum and others of jumpers. Finally found mine. Looks like she's preggers, so there should be more!

Good news for me! I just got some new parts so I can move my flash over the lens-- instead of to the side. Something recommended by several on here.

You hit the jackpot. You have to opportunity to photograph a whole family of jumpers.

I hope so. The weather went from mid-80's to rainy, windy, and cool. I checked for her yesterday evening and did not see her.
