Both have nice clear feathers and bright eyes but I like the first one best because it shows all three of those curved orangy feathers on the whole bird whereas the partial bird with only one orange feather showing seems unbalanced.

Would you be offended if I suggest you have a look around all for corners of the view finder to be sure all the subject is in shot before you drop the shutter. Hope Im not teaching you to suck eggs??
