A few years ago, my wife and I took a RV trip from Utah to Washington DC for the Cherry Blossom Festival. Spectacular! While out there my wife was impressed with all the brightly colored birds in the Eastern US so while we were in Pennsylvania we bought a bird feeder to attract the birds, following is our first attempts at getting pictures of birds at the feeder. I guess I need to return it for a different model.
Are they the flying type?
We have a lot of them around our feeder also. I have to make some squirrel guards as mine are on posts away from trees but the little buggers climb steel like nothing. Good luck keeping them off, then the birds will come.
Not that I could tell, just the plain old pesky type.
I thought that a small diameter steel post would at least make it hard to climb, wrong again, they went up it just like a tree.
