I have a Pentax Optica WS11 that I keep in my golf bag for various shots including slow mo movies of golf swings. I recently loaned it to somone who wanted to take a couple of still shots and I had forgotton to set it up for this. The outcome is that I have a recorded movie of the image on the SD card that I transferred to the computer, but have no idea if it is possible to get a still image from this slow mo movie. Any help of advise would be greatly appreciated.

Any video software will do it, download Pinnacle or Sony Vegas trial.

Or VLC

Canonuser: If you have windows 8, you have the snipit tool. Pause the movie, grab snipit, and capture away. I would think the quality of the capture will be based on the quality of the video file.

I use snipit a lot for those pictures that you cannot save on the net, snipit will do it every time. Snip the entire screen or a portion of it. Great feature

Thanks JR1 for the note about VLC. Never knew it could do that.

Give this program a try. (Free Video to JPG Converter) I used it a while back, and it worked pretty good. Even better, it's free.
