Thanks Gracie and Pat for this great Challenge! As someone said, they just seem to be getting better and better every challenge. I suspect it is because people are becoming more and more knowledgeable about their cameras and photography's many intricacies. It is hard to imagine how many photos we have all taken over just this year!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks to you all who acknowledged my small attempt at close-ups earlier. Here are a couple of dogs, a Newfoundland and a Rodesian Ridgeback our neighbors walk daily.

p44 I can feel the doggy breath and I love it. Both have such beautiful eyes. Great closeups, Marj.
p27 Really like the magnolia, Irene. They are one of my favs but they don't like it up here.
Thank you Pato. I always thought these were a southern flower too. My daughter and son-in-law bought a house a couple of years ago and there is a magnolia tree in the yard that blooms in the spring....and lol....found I was so wrong!! But the blooms aren't nearly as large as the ones I have seen in the southern states.
Someone on the challenge mentioned (Gracie?) showing some Mother's Day closeups. We went to my daughter's for dinner. Alas, my cold has me so stuffed I couldn't taste a thing, but I did get some close-ups.
yum!!!!.....and cute grandkid pics! (Hope you are feeling better.)
