I start every morning with these posts and pics...been taking pics since I was 10 years old..now 71. Just love my newest camera...Canon G12. My favorite things to shoot are sunrises, flowers, my two Yorkies, closeups and the mountains of beautiful North Idaho, where I hike weekly year round with my husband.

Welcome - I have thought of getting a G12 as they seem to get very good reviews and have lots options. Please feel free to add comments, question and for sure some of your pictures - people everywhere are mostly snoopy and love seeing how others see.

Yes indeed dogs are the best at working the emotional strings. They are much better atuned do our emotions, our moods, and how to work it to their advantage then most people are - and they make the world a better place because of it. All very nice pictures.
