Yup, it's a Common Grackle. It is really tough to get those smaller birds in flight shots.

Even though 1 grackle can chase everything from your bird feeder, their iridescence in good light is irresistable.

Thank you jrb. Yes the small ones are a bit of a challenge...I think that's what keeps me going after them.
