This is my first in focus macro shot with my rebel 350d & reversed Canon FD 28mm prime glass lens.
1/200 iso 400 no flash - after bright noon sunlight

Cropped close up of the subject - A Dragon on a antique Chinese cloisonné napkin ring AF 18-55 Canon Glass
1/200 iso 400 pop up flash w/double milk jug defusing strip hand held over flash

You have no recognizable scale in your photograph, so we cannot determine your field-of-view.
Please photograph a metric ruler, so we can determine your magnification.

OK- I'll work on that tomorrow - and maybe I'll find a bg to shoot too. my new pistol grip ball head should be here and I will use my macro rail also. Dang I'm pumped up to finally have the kit to do this - thank you for your tips & help.
