Last time I was in the presence of one of these little rainbows at a wildlife center in Australia, he could not be dissuaded from chewing off my shoelaces! Love the eye on pic#1. Sally

All three are very good. The eye and beak in the first one really came out sharp. He is looking right at the viewer which makes it a really good image. I also like the third one for the same reason. Well done.

Thank you for all the comments. He loves attention, so I can get lots of practice! My daughter doesn't like to have her pic taken :-)

Feedback:
The shots are blurry; nothing is in tack sharp focus.
The on-camera flash is a bit harsh looking.
Not sure what your procedure was for shooting him but I'd get more light into the scene via turning on more lights and then step back a foot, and make sure I nailed focus on his eye...if the eye is in focus...we unconsciously forgive the lack of focus other places.
