This guy was tiny and my diffuser was blocking out the light, I guess the only thing that I did differently was drop back down to an f/8 so that I could see to focus. Cool Spider, but I have no idea what kind he is... looks a little like a hentz but is not a hentz.

Looks to be the Mate of the one I just posted. Same color legs and color around the eyes, smaller than small. Will try to get a shot this week to match up. F/8 was working for you

What it shows is that with the proper angle & spot-on focus, a wider aperture is possible. #1 is very well captured
