I just tried this and failed, I hope it posts and doesn't end up two posts. I did a search on Amazon and this is the result.

OK if you're only going to use it once.

that is true..but OP was asking where to rent a calibrator.

we have the color munki at work. we have 75 monitors to calibrate and about 30 printers.

i borrowed it to do my home computers and laptops. just for the heck of it..I did them once last year and they still match the monitors at work.

i think the companies tell you to recalibrate every week so they can get you to justify the $400 that this one cost. I'm going to see how long i can go. i did bring it home and re-did one of my 7 monitors.....didn't see a bit of improvement over the original calibration.

calibrating the printers was also awesome...now when we soft proof...the prints look exactly like what's on the monitor.

you can recalibrate every day if you like...but like i said, i have been testing this with my home monitors.

we have laptops, cheap lcd, expensive lcd and even a few old crts still hooked working. once calibrated..they look great. if we rented once a year.....it would take over 10 years to pay for this one.

do what you like, it's your money. I'm just letting you know what we have found. if you are looking for an inexpensive way out...rent one. if you got money to spend buy one.

it's nice to have options....and not everyone has the money to purchase one. we tried some cheaper calibrators before we bought the color munki and none of them work as well in our situations. we use pantone colors and design plaids and patterns so our colors have to be exact. color munki is one of the more expensive ones...but it works flawlessly on monitors and printers. makes a perfect profile.

The color munki display is only $169 (B&H) and often comes up for rebates/discounts from there, so at $35 a pop, it doesn't take too long to own one. Not sure where you're buying them. Their full display and print kit is around $450, but I don't care since I don't do critical printing at home.

Remember that you're not only calibrating the display but you're also calibrating against ambient light. They've got a memory leak in their ambient light monitor code, so you don't want to leave that running (at least under win7 64)

I agree weekly is probably crazy for most, but I do mine monthly, and I DO see minor variances in the before/after images. That being said, "once" is better than never, but yearly?
