Despite our recent snowfall that has postponed the arrival of spring, the birds seem as happy as ever. They're just going about their business, doing what birds do.
Black-capped Chickadee
Meadowlark
Red-winged Blackbird
Great Horned Owl on her nest
American Avocet
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Northern Shoveler
Wood Duck
Northern Flicker
Great Horned Owlets
Red-winged Blackbird
Very enjoyable! The avocet and shoveler are new to me. Cool!
A very entertaining aviary tour.

I'm pleased that you liked them. Colorado lies in a migratory pathway so we get some birds that just stop by as they are passing through of which the Shoveler and Avocet happen to be two of the current visitors.

I could have added a few more but I felt the post was running a bit long. I still have pelicans, hawks, GBH, blue-winged teal and eagles, but as these were all taken at a greater distance, there is not as much detail in the shots. The diversity of the birds in this area never ceases to amaze me. Thanks for viewing.

Great shots of unusual birds (in the UK that is)
Like the wood duck with his reflection in the water

Nice work. My own technique for tracking little birds leaves way too much to be desired.

PNagy, if you only knew the number of shots that ended up in the trash just to end up with a few keepers.
