Georgous pictures I hope my bucket list trip to Alaska gets me in the area of where you took these. Did you go on a tour or drive on your own to get to these places.

These images were taken over the many trips I took to the north. I always went on my own, flew to Anchorage and rented an SUV and explored. I took one tour into Denali on a bus since nobody can drive into the park on his own, with exceptions. I guess I am a loner, I didn't like it at all. Whenever you go, have nice weather and a great time.

Scheduled launch for our two to three month trip is now less than 30 days away. We are flexible so it depends on how much fun we are having. This one topped our bucket list for several years. Its time has almost come.
We're driving all the way starting out due north out of Idaho through BC and the Yukon to Fairbanks via Dawson City. Thence down through Denali and Anchorage to the Kenai.
We might take the Ferry back to Prince Rupert with a couple of stops; e.g. Petersburg and Juneau. Been to Juneau but would like to camp around it and whale watch later in the year.
Hope we can get some shots as good as yours.
