I went outside in the garden to play with my new flash. The flash is off camera mounted on a old tripod and triggered by my Nikon D7000 commander mode.

On #3 the strobe was below the flower shooting through the pedals with fill from the on camera flash.
I've never taken pics at night. You did a fantastic job. Love the way these pics look. Excellent job!!

Thanks for the great pics and the inspiration. I just got a remote trigger for my flash so will give it a try. Waiting for flowers to bloom now. :-D

These are beautiful pictures. I like taking pictures of flowers at night using the off camera flash. It really brings out the colors and it is much better for a dark background. Keep up the good work and have fun with the new flash. Lets see some more great pictures of flowers at night.
