I like the crop on the black and white as well as the contrast and detail. #2 for me.

I think the black and white has more interest than the color. You could really play around with this, add more contrast, adjust levels or anything else and get some interesting pictures from it if you wanted to.

I agree with #2. The only thing I see is I would get rid of the little distracting and out of focus things at the bottom left of the photo.

Try a closer crop to image #1 and see what happens. I like the colour in that one. Image #2 is the best, but I agree with Gary, need to remove the distractions below the leaf.

The out of focus items below the black and white leaf could be removed.

the little out of focus thing in the left otherwise known as a tree is what makes the black and white so interesting and adds a sense of depth to the photo. do not touch a thing on the black and white. it is perfect the way it is. I am a huge fan of black and white and yours is very good.
